medcenter your minder recorder

Are you or a loved one having trouble remembering to take medication. The MedCenter’s Personalized Reminder Alarm Clock is a great solution to that problem. I found this personal alarm clock  to be a high quality product and great medication reminder.

MedCenter Talking Personal Recording “Your.Minder Alarm Clock” allows you to record your own voice and play back a personal alarm or reminder. You can record up to 6 different alarm messages and set up to 6 different daily alarm times. Recording your personal message is very easy to do with the three buttons provided in the back. For setting the alarm dates and times, I recommend reading the instructions, as that is a little more complicated. The instructions that come with this clock are very easy to follow and everything is described in full detail.

The day, date and time are clearly and prominently displayed on the front of the clock. When viewing the top of the clock you have four buttons. The green button is the talk feature and tells you the current clock time, month and day. The blue button tells you if your alarms are set and which are. The yellow button is a back light for the clock and the red button is a taking alarm acknowledgement. The only problem I had is how this clock is very loud. It contains speakers on both ends, something I can see being a benefit to older seniors. Personally, I feel it could use a volume control button for those of us that can hear better and would like to have it on our night stand.

The Talking Personal Recording Alarm Clock comes with a battery included, just removed the clock from the box and pull the tab to activate the clock immediately. For convenience a 120V AC Power Adapter is sold separately. You can also purchase a unit that includes the adapter.

Features:

• RECORD UP TO (6) OF YOUR OWN ALARM MESSAGES to alert users when it’s time to take medication, get out of bed, walk the dog, etc.
• Set up to (6) DIFFERENT DAILY ALARM times
• LOUD speaker volume ensures the alarm is heard
• Works with (2) AA Batteries (included) or 120V AC Power Adaptor for use in the United States (sold separately)

Record anything!

• “Happy Birthday!”
• “Don’t forget to take your heart medication”
• “Pick the kids up at the soccer field”
• “Today is the big meeting with the new client”.

About the inventor:

“Growing up, my father would forget to take his necessary medication – which would result in him fainting and passing out,” says Martin Cooper, the inventor of The MedCenter System. “Coming up with a way to organize my parents’ medications and encourage their adherence was the true motivation behind creating the system,” he says.

Doctors and Pharmacists both agree that taking medications on schedule is crucial for managing your health. With the MedCenter Talking Personal Alarm Clock, as well as other MedCenter Systems products help taking your medication on a set schedule part of your daily routine.

  1. My mother could use this. She has asthma and always forgets to use one of her inhalers first thing in the morning. She gets busy and it slips her mind. This would be a great way for her to remember.

  2. This would help so many people! My Grandmother is starting to have trouble remembering things. This would be perfect for her.

  3. I could actually really benefit from an alarm reminder like this. I have ADD..so am constantly forgetting things which is so frustrating!

  4. This would be a perfect gift for a long time family friend. She is on oxygen now all of the time and is very forgetful. She is always being reminded to take her meds and to even pay her bills on time. She is struggling daily to remember everything she needs to do to just keep her house going and to keep her out of nursing home.
